The Patriot was introduced in the Jeep lineup back in 2007. The car was a new mid-sized SUV and debuted back at the 2006 New York Auto Show. The vehicle featured a range of things, including two different four-wheel drive systems that could be controlled by the driver electronically. The Freedom Drive I was the basic front-wheel drive system that had power transmitted to the rear wheels. The Freedom Drive II system is based on the same hardware but featured a lower axle gear ratio. The Patriot was offered with a range of different options. These included Sport, Latitude, and Limited trim packages. Though the car was a popular addition to the lineup, it was discontinued back in 2017 when a second generation Compass was introduced in the lineup. When you need new parts for your Patriot, you want to be sure you're using only OEM components. This way, you'll know they fit. You can find a great selection here at Landmark Mopar.
