Back in 1981, RAM was established as a division of the Dodge brand. Since the early 1900’s, Dodge had been producing trucks and some of these models had ram hood ornaments on a range of their vehicles. The ornament became easily recognizable across the lineup. Between 1985-1990, the first generation of RAM branded trucks were introduced. In 1988, a boost in fuel efficiency thanks to an electronic injection system allowed them to gain more popularity on the market. The second generation of RAM trucks were produced from 1990-1995. Throughout the years, there have been many different stylistic and performance upgrades. In 2010, RAM trucks officially became established as a division of Chrysler. The goal when producing RAM trucks has always been to appeal to truck customers who want high performance. If you drive a RAM vehicle, make sure you invest in OEM products when making upgrades or repairs. You can find them here at Landmark Mopar Parts.
